DigiLocker provides identity details and a profile picture, but the official application instructions still require a separate recent photograph and signature upload. This tool prepares those upload files; it does not change or validate your DigiLocker or Aadhaar photo.
Photograph checklist
Use a recent colour passport photograph on a plain white background.
Look directly at the camera and keep the forehead, eyes, nose, and chin visible.
Remove sunglasses, caps, masks, glare, shadows, other people, and background objects.
Signature checklist
Sign horizontally with black or dark blue ink on white paper.
Use your full normal signature, not initials, all capitals, or a digital signature.
Crop closely enough that the signature occupies roughly 70-80% of the image.

What output does the GATE 2027 photo tool create?
It creates a 350 x 450 pixel JPG photograph. This is within the official 200 x 260 to 530 x 690 pixel range, the 0.66 to 0.89 aspect-ratio range, and the 5KB to 600KB file-size range.
What output does the GATE 2027 signature tool create?
It creates a 350 x 100 pixel JPG signature. The 3.5:1 width-to-height ratio and resolution sit within the official GATE 2027 ranges (the published width-to-height ratio is between 2.75:1 and 3.75:1), and the file is prepared between 3KB and 300KB.
Can I use an iPhone HEIC/HEIF photo?
Not directly. The official GATE 2027 photograph requirement is a JPEG/JPG file, and this workflow reads JPG, PNG, and WebP inputs. A HEIC/HEIF file straight from an iPhone camera is usually not decoded by desktop browsers, so export or convert the photo to JPG first, then prepare it here.
Does this guarantee that GATE will accept my images?
No. The tool prepares measurable file properties, but you must still inspect face coverage, white background, glare, blur, ink colour, signature size, and the current official instructions.
